Architectural Modeling In 3d Max

In this tutorial we cover Concepts and procedures for architectural modeling, building 3D objects, generating objects from curves or shapes using simple technique in 3d max.

In this tutorial you will learn how to build and model Complete Corporate Architectural Building from scratch to final.

1) On the Create panel, click Shapes, and then click Line. In the Top view port draw the shape like in below image

2) In vertex selection mode use Bezier Corner to round or curve the shape as shown in below image.

3) use Fillet in geometry rollout of modify panel to round the corner as shown below.
4) Use bevel modifier and give the value 5.5 in Height and -2.0 in Outline. leave other levels as blank or 0 value. Now we have done the base for our building

5) We use same curve shape for making the glass wall. Duplicate this shape and scale it down and attached with original shape as shown below.
6) Apply extrude modifier with amount of 36.This will make the shape like in this image.
7) On the create panel click geometry and then cylinder to make pillar or column. duplicate the base for roof and go to Group menu > group. and give the name ground floor.

8) Select The ground floor group and press shit+ drag left mouse click up to make clone of this ground floor then menu bar appear for clone options put value 6 in number of copies to make six floor structure.

9) use Cylinder Tool from Create panel for making the Top floor just add glass prop around the glass wall with less thickness.
10) Add top floor of building
